| Comment: | I tried to write a blues/jazz piece, and I came up with this. I didn't know what to expect at first, but as I was writing ideas began to pop. I hope you enjoy it. |

Beautifully chill. Some great writing in here. I want. (to be able to mimic it).

Great tune, very relaxing. I agree that more sax should have been used! I thought the G7 chord in the beginning and at the end was just fine. For some reason I imagined Ella Fitzgerald in there somewhere... The only downside for me was the Chorus, it was kinda slow. Felt a bit anti-climatic in this regard. The piano lines are bitchin'.

| | I wish I had time to revise this, I would certainly make more use of the sax. Thanks for letting the word out on where Ella Fitzgerald got its inspiration from ;) Seriously though, I'm listening to her now and wow, what a voice. |

This is pretty damn good. Very laid back feel. The one thing I was expecting the whole time was a sweet acoustic guitar blues solo to pop up somewhere, then I would have given this a 10.

This didn't really float my boat. Everything is technically correct I guess but it just didn't seem to be very exciting. The rhythm guitar just didn't sound right to me, especially early on. It may be a midi thing or it may just be that the tempo is too slow for it to be effective.

| | Your rating doesn't sound like an 8! Haha just joking, appreciate the feedback. It does feel too slow sometimes even to me. |

I really loved this one, parts of it feel like something Creedence could have made on a jazzy day, but I think this has more blues than jazz. In Swedish I'd simply call this song "skön" which I suppose is best translated as pleasant. It gives a very calm feeling. All the chord progressions and all the leads are great and the piece has a perfect amount of variation. I can't see no wrong with this, to be honest. My only complain would be the G7 early in the piece, it just didn't fit that well.

The contrasts between the sections are really nice in this, & there's always something interesting going on! Maybe you could have used the sax abit more, its theme is cool & it gives a nice change of texture... good skillsss all round!

What I dig about this is the laid back feel, and the fact that really, it's a little of both jazz AND blues. It's a very solid frame, and the only real con I can see is a matter of Powertab's inherant limitations.

It was a pretty cool tune, man, but there was some note/chord choice that didn't really agree with me (most notably, the G7 in the opening/verse riff, and some of the chromatic changes in the bridge). Still, this song definitely had its moments.
