| Comment: | My submission for UCC11! Inspired by a time when I was drunk at 6 flags and i had to run away from security :) |

it definitely has direction, and feels like running away from something. you do a really good job of building suspense and tension. although, i wasn't sure how the guitar part at m 48-51 expresses got away clean, and it didnt fit in with the rest of the piece imo

I liked this piece - it had some really cool riffs and could be really great, but I think it needs more development. It was an... interesting... topical premise, haha, but it did still make for an interesting song. The main issue is that the verse and the chorus (and most of the sections, for that matter), are not really that distinct from each other, a really contrasting theme or a break might be cool somewhere - especially to break up the solid straight-eighths pattern, and add some rhythmic diversity, even if only briefly. Another point to consider might be tailing your riffs - i.e. if your going to repeat one four times, maybe use an "A" and "B" fourth measure alternately, to add diversity. Similarly, try varying up lead-type parts, such as Gtr. 2 m.47-50, to maintain interest. On the whole, it's definitely an interesting song - by no means dull or generic! Great work.

I expected it to be more drunk-like!

there are just too few ideas, the ideas in the intro were good, good rhythm, but its just not enough for calling it a complete song...

Hah, I have a song with a very similar intro. =D I like it. Underdeveloped though. The intro felt like more than half the song, and it never really progressed beyond that. What you have is good mostly. Got Away Clean could use a little work.

I really love a lot of it, and like everything else, but this song's main problem is that it never goes anywhere or reaches any highs. The chorus is like a slightly different and more messed up version of the verse, for example.

Uh, you have some real nice bass riffs going. It sounds like we're about to get some soaring, high neck sounds and then it suddenly ends. You have a nice start there, but that's it.
