| Comment: | This is what it would have sounded like if I wrote this most triumphant song! Some mildly djenty sections and some really amazing parts near the end. See the mp3 for all sweet drums, industrial fx, this midi, and the Billy\'s vocal track! |

I'm sorry, but I'll stick with the original.

| | How are you going to rate a 5, and not provide some constructive feedback? Or is it just a witless opinionated rating? |

| | music is subjective, and this is a cover. I don't need to provide constructive feedback on something like this. |

Wasn't familiar with the original, but I listened to it and your version is certainly intriguing. While the original had better compatibility between music and vocals, yours manages to offer a richer and deeper experience, also slightly darker like it has been said. I really loved the concept behind this remake, kudos for envisioning it in the first place. Is Billy Idol still hiring?

Was not familiar?
Does not compute. |

| | Haha thanks dude. I'll be more mindful of the vocal track next time. It was just the last thing I put on and I was like "wonder if this is going to work". But I felt I had to put it on for the sake of novelty :p |

Having only heard this song been played in clubs I've been in, I didn't actually know it very well, but I recognise the original just about and it's an interesting take :D. Seems kind of odd to throw that 000960 chord in so much (you know the one), it gives it a lot darker and heavier feel at times, also got my hopes raised a bit too much when you said "mildy djent" but I didn't really pick up too much of it :( . I think all in all it's still enjoyable, I thought the melodic sections that didn't use the open strings were much better worked.

| | just played the mp3, it's kind of amusing with the vocal track, well timed :P the percussion sounds pretty decent but like C2 says, it does get a little cluttered. |

| | Yeah, I sorta used that m9 as a theme (I love that fucking chord!). I never intended to take this song as far as I did, otherwise I might have something different. But I guess it all worked out 8D |

At first I was like (?_? ) ... but then I was like d(O.o ) ... I wish the mp3 was a little less cluttered sounding, or just had some better EQ'ing maybe. As for the actual notation, I very much enjoyed the "complexifying" of the original.

| | Yeah, the mp3 was a bit intense. I would have liked to have polished it up more, but I felt like if I didn't just finish it now I never would have. |

This is just straight up amazing!! And not just in the way youve got the vocal track matched up in the mp3. Made all the better due to the fact that i saw him live at download festival earlier this month and i rekon this version would have gone down much better there lol. Its a really hard thing to take such a classic like this piece and really put your own spin on it but youve managed to do it really well, great work, loved it!
