Comment:Hey, well here\'s a grand epic that certainly needed the 16 months it literally took to complete! Haha. .hopesfall. started this wonderfully eerie piece before Golbez mucked it all up. And then the kinks took the remaining year to iron out. Voilą!

Awesome rhythm as 4-6, that sounded so cool. D was amazing, great sound to it. Going with drim, E was a great section in it's own right, and the rhythms were great, but it didn't necessarily fit with the peace, great ending though.

it was ok for a video game song, but for a recorded and produced composition i'd have to it was mediocre.

The mp3 isn't a recorded anything. It's just a synth-font applied to the MIDI. Just a higher-end sound. Thanks for the listen though!

I loved everything until E. There were really great spots! But IMO section E doesnt really fit.

Kefka much? Pretty solid song with a nice creepy vibe. I wonder why I would instantly find this creepy? I like the E section, but I don't think it suits the previous parts entirely. Still, a good track that I enjoyed muchly.

Kefka!? That's what I said!

True. I hadn't read your review before I posted mine. I'm sure the laughing Kefka at the top of the page also might mean that it was slightly intentional.

Although I was somewhat displeased with the last section, I loved all those groovy melodies which made me smile at one point, and overall thought it was a clever and creative piece. It's certainly not something you see every day over here. And I disagree with sggod about the transitions, they sounded fine to me.

Diggin the waltzy strings! Man this hellaaaaa reminds me of the Kefka theme from FF3/6. My favorite part would have to be that lead in part C! Some rough transitions, I'm sure a product of it stewing for all those months. The articulate dynamics really what made this awesome, amazing attention to detail. Minus 1 for the fluidity, which is crucial for earning that 10.

Good, thought that the ending was a little abrupt though.

9.5 - Fun little VG piece. I felt the wind instrument you chose for lead could've had a more matching timbre style. Otherwise, it was quite awesome and pleasant. Loved all the sections. Really nothing to complain about here, other than figuring out how to nicely loop it so that it actually could work as a recurring VG theme.

Many, if not most, video game themes loop, but some associated with like a plot line don't necessarily loop. This could possibly work for something like that.
