The combination of your tewo styles couldn't have resulted in a better composition

I remember hearing a rough idea for this song about 2 years ago, and I learned to play the chorus, and I thought it was the best song ever. I wondered when Steve would finish it, and it turned out even better than I thought it would. Good work guys.

I liked the key change at mea 9, it fit nicely. It was all great really, both distortion and acoustic. Powerful song.

'Twas quite nice - perhaps a little too lilting in some spots, but not to the point of detriment, as the piece was still engaging throughout. This one had a great "soundscape" to it - excellent note choice and instrumentation created a great texture.

I'm glad the love feature was added because this just quite didn't fit in my top 10 back when this contest was on. I guess you can call something greatness when you can get this in your head months after you first hear it.

I have to give this one a ten for the following reasons: effort, effectivity, complexity, groove, freshness, symbiosis... adjectives are overrated!

I wasn't a big fan back in the days of the voting, but I dig it now. Gorgeous song.

I'm going to follow suit and agree that it seems to drone on in the middle sections. I'm a sheep, baaaaaa. That's what prevented me from rating it before. But it's still a pretty exceptional piece.

I ♥ this song. Really. But I have to agree with Alex about the song losing itself in the mid-sections. Definitely Top10 though...

Here's proof that the English don't *totally* suck. Pretty much exceptional throughout (kudos for gorgeous Rhodes and the PoS-esque 5/8 chugging). However, the song lost its way at times - sections E, F and I probably being the worst offenders...

Those legato slides really add movement to the piece...

It was pretty good, but it gets lost with the alternating time signatures.

Ahh. I'm upping my rating to a 10. It's really grown on me alot. The chorus, guitar break, and everything after that were...perfect.

it has a really nice feel, and some parts are really good, but i wouldnt listen to it often other than as background music, as nothing really grabbed my attention, there was no real melody.

Kickass! That chorus was amazing, as well as the guitar break near the end. Overall, an amazing song, one of my favorites.

An RTTC where Alex won't win? I don't believe it. Very well written, while some of the acoustic wasn't quite my cup of tea. Overall it was amazing though and deserves nothing less than a ten.

Not bad, a bit repetitve for chords at the beginning but it's getting better during the rest of the song. Liked the way you always put another guitar doing "solo". A bit progressive which is good...Very Good!

Ah, sooo good. The acoustic intro is just perfect, and every distortion part is lovely.

Though I was bit disappointed with the chorus (which still was great) I still think this is better than a nine, because everything was really great. So a ten it is. And perhaps this will get my vote, I don't know yet.

I hate you guys. Everything in this song is worthy of a 10. The synth in the bass was really cool, and right before and during the guitar break I got all wet and sticky. Guess once if you have my vote?:P
